Yesterday, on 12/21/22, Jennifer on the team had a dream. In the dream she was simply given the scripture "1 Kings 2". Of course that means 1 Kings chapter 2. She wasn't sure what specific verses, or if it was the entire chapter. The Lord left it open for her to share, so that we would all research this chapter and look to him for understanding.
We read the chapter, and a few people in the team gave sort of a nutshell understanding that the basic teaching from this chapter was mainly about being obedient, keeping our eyes on Jesus, and then we will walk righteously in him, and become what he wants us to be. Which of course is a beautiful teaching, and we just kind of left the conversation there, because we just weren't sure where The Lord was going specifically.
Well, last night, Allyson could not shake this feeling inside that there was much more there, and there was a very specific message for "right now", in regard to waiting to go with Jesus outside of time. So she took a little time on her own and started to study the chapter. The first few verses seemed to keep jumping out at her. Suddenly she began to get a revelation understanding!
In this chapter, the basic storyline is, this is when David was dying and he needed to pass everything down to his son Solomon. So he was giving Solomon some advice on how to stand straight and narrow, so that his walk with God would stay on the right path. He got into some more things later the chapter, but Allyson felt that she needed to stay in the first few verses.
Then, she understood what the Lord was showing her. The answer was in the following verses:
1 Kings 2:1 Now the days of David drew near that he should die, and he charged Solomon his son, saying: 2 “I go the way of all the earth; be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man. 3 And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn; 4 that the Lord may fulfill His word which He spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul,’ He said, ‘you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’
It was verse 3 the Lord kept emphasizing. She began to realize that there were five main instructions that David gave to Solomon...
1 - Walk in His Ways
(Right in line with the New Testament: Mark 12:30 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength, 31 and love your neighbor as yourself")
2 - Keep His Statues
3 - His Commandments
4 - His Judgements
5 - & His testimonies
Now of course, the first instruction, "Walk in his ways", sums up all the rest. And just as Mark 12:30-31 tell us, as long as we walk in Him, and in His righteousness, all the rest will fall right into line. He does not teach us this to fall into legalism in regard to the Old Testament law that Jesus fulfilled. He is teaching that when we walk in Him, we automatically walk according to how God has taught us to walk in his Word.
I felt the need to explain this in case anyone sit down to write a list of everything they need to do to open that door. That is not the purpose of Him revealing this. He simply wants us to understand, when our hearts belong to Him one hundred percent, we have allowed Him to create an us a clean heart, we've allowed Him to circumcise our heart, we have gotten any heart healing and deliverance that we needed, and we are doing everything we need to do to walk in His righteousness, we have allowed Him to separate us from the world, and we live every moment looking for His Coming...THAT is when we know we have obtained "David's Key". David was a man after God's Own Heart, Which is represented is that David gave God his whole heart. David was on his face before God repenting anytime he sinned. It all comes down to the heart. When that true relationship is there with Jesus Christ, and the heart belongs to Him a hundred percent, that's when we are where He wants us to be, and we have "The Key" to go through that "Door" when He comes for us. Amen & Amen.
So going back to this amazing revelation, when Allyson realized The Lord was showing her the "5 instructions", she immediately remember the "5 stones" of David!
1 Samuel 17:40 Then he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag, in a pouch which he had, and his sling was in his hand.
Our sister, Christine Beadsworth, released a message in the last month or so, talking about how David worked with the 5 stones and the slingshot when he came against Goliath. He only needed one stone to slay the giant, Goliath. So of course this is full confirmation that we really only need the first instruction to truly walk in the rest. Glory to God!
And of course, let's not forget some very "KEY" scriptures in relation to "David's Key", as well as to the "Open Door"!!
Isaiah 22:22 (we LOVE those numbers lol)
The KEY of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open, and no one shall shut; And he shall shut, and no one shall open.
Rev 3:7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the KEY of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”
Rev 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a DOOR standing open in heaven.
As you can see, some beautiful confirmations of everything the Lord revealed to Allyson! Hallelujah!!
So the amazing confirmation we had as a team for this beautiful Revelatory understanding that was given to Allyson, in relation to Jennifer's dream...was that after Allyson explained this, Luke had a revelatory vision to bring it all together and confirm everything!
Luke spoke: "Open door! The Door is open! I just thought about the key, and then I saw a door open with ultra bright light coming through! The Glory of God itself!"
I mean you talk about the ultimate confirmation to seal this Supernatural, amazing Revelation! Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!
